IN THE LAUNCH OF THE “PATH TO ASEAN” PROGRAM

His Excellency, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nino Pereira, and His Excellency, the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade, participated in the launching ceremony of the “Path to ASEAN” program, held at Jardim Sorte Hall, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC), in Praia dos Coqueiros, Dili.
The “Path to ASEAN” program is a national campaign aimed at raising community awareness about the importance of Timor-Leste’s accession to ASEAN.
This initiative is supported by the European Union and developed in collaboration with the Ministry of State Administration, through the Municipal Authority, to provide communities with information on the benefits of Timor-Leste’s ASEAN membership.
The launching ceremony was officially presided over by His Excellency, the Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, and Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mr. Francisco Kalbuadi Lay, alongside His Excellency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. Bendito Freitas, as well as the Minister and Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, other government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and various guests.
